Building a Lifetime Love for Learning

International Montessori Academy is created with a dream of providing each child with an atmosphere of love, care, and respect that is conducive to learning.

Children learn Math, Science, History, Geography, Spanish, Dance, Sign Language among other subjects. The curriculum is geared towards providing a solid foundation in each subject so that the students can excel in any challenge in their life.

Once again, IMA Students have demonstrated their command on the core subjects and exeled in IOWA Test.  Keeping with tradition, they typically performed at 2 to 4 grade levels higher in the subjects tested.

School Opens on Tuesday, September 2

Note: First day is a Half Day school.  Students will be dismissed at 11:30 and there is No Afternoon Latch-Key.  Parent Orientation will be held on the same day from 5 - 6 PM

2008 -2009 Academic Year Enrollment

Seats are limited and will be filled on a first come first served basis.  Download the registration form and bring the duely filled-in form to the school office along with a payment of $600.  Please submit the registration by Friday, August 8, 2008.  Classes will start on Tuesday, September 2, 2008.

Iowa test is one of the nationally recognized standardized tests used to evaluate students progress every year. IMA is one of the few schools in the Metro Detroit area that uses Iowa Test to measure each student's progress.
